I am a certified nutritional consultant that could help and educate you so that you will eventually learn how to make better food choices and live a healthier lifestyle.
The first step in my process is to get to know you by finding out about your current diet. Then, I can assist you on how to make the necessary adjustments and modifications in your diet to make it much healthier.
Each and everyone of us is unique. The complex interaction between genetics and the environment ensures that each individual is born biochemically distinct. The amount of macronutrients (proteins, carbohydrates and fats) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) vary from one individual to another. This principle is called biochemical individuality.
Today our body is constantly faced with a lot of stressful challenges like pollution (chemical, environmental, electromagnetic, etc.) that could act as an antinutrient, and by depriving it further of the needed nutrients, causes suboptimal performance. Therefore to be optimally healthy and resilient, it is important to provide the body with the right kinds and amount of nutrients.
My educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from University of Santo Tomas, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rutgers University, a Masters in Natural Health from Clayton College of Natural Health and a Certification as Nutritional Consultant from Global College of Natural Medicine.
In addition, I am board certified as a nutritional consultant by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
